Kevin Barrington gets his first win!!
Here is a picture of Kevin tackling the last climb at this years Paris to Ancaster. Kevin and I have been working together for a few months now and one of his goals was to crack the top 100 at this race. Kevin smoked it that day and came in an amazing 60th out of 2000+ riders!!! Another goal of Kevin's was to win an O-cup at least once during the season, well he got that out of the way nice and quick and won his category at O-cup #1 at Mansfield on Sunday!! Even through a bit of adversity Kevin was strong minded and got the job done. At the P2A his cross bike went down and had to borrow a MTB last min to as least start the race and at the MTB O-cup he flatted on the last lap and still pulled off the big win!! Congratulation Kevin! Your amazing to work with and it is nice to see all your hard work pay off!!

Hill repeats with Simon Knowles
Simon worked extremely hard during this one. We did hill repeats on a pretty solid pitch up in Queensville. I train on this climb quite a bit and it is a staple for me and my training so it becomes a staple for everyone on my coaching roster. You can't fake it on this hill or you come to a complete stop, even in your lightest gear this is a workout. Want help with the Niagara O-cup? Contact me! Want to know how to drop your buddies? Contact me! Even if you just want to finish a century ride.......Contact me!

Simon Knowles knows pain!
Nothing better than working with someone who knows how to push themselves. Simon has a very high pain threshold, he can suffer with the best of them and in this sport it can take you many places. I have him doing a high seated effort to mimic the lead into a sprint, then he stands up and finishes off the interval. This is a very important workout for any level of rider and one that most rec level riders ignore. Let me show you how important a strong sprint is, give me a chance to prove to you that this might be the one area you need " a coach" to help you with.
